Touring Park Terms and Conditions

ON ARRIVAL: All visitors must report to Reception on arrival before pitching up. Fees must be paid in advance and will not be refunded, please take our your own insurance. Pitches are available at 12 noon on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure. Prior permission is required from the proprietors to vary these timings.

VEHICLES: There is a 10 mph speed limit on the Site and the roads must be kept clear at all time to allow for emergency vehicle access. Your vehicle, accessories and contents are left at your own risk. Briarfields will not be held responsible for loss or damage thereto from any cause whatsoever. Please note that commercial vehicles or vans will only be accepted at the discretion of the proprietors and cannot be booked online. Only one car per booking is permited. Please do NOT drive on the grass unless told to do so. Hose pipes must not be used to wash vehicles/caravans.

CHILDREN: Young children should be accompanied when using the toilets and/or showers. Ball games/games involving flying missiles are a serious hazard and can easily cause damage to a caravan. We therefore expect parents/adults to use their discretion if allowing children to play such games, ensuring they do not play directly around or between caravans.

GROUPS: We are not able to accept bookings from single sex parties of more than three or from unaccompanied persons under the age of 18.  If we see a group forming, we will ask you to leave and no refund of monies will be paid.

PETS: For obvious reasons of hygiene and health please ensure that dogs are kept under control on a short lead at all times, and are not allowed to foul the park or annoy other guests. Dog owners are responsible for the removal of any fouling.

ON SITE: Please make yourself aware of the site's fire regulations and the location of the fire fighting equipment. Disposable barbeques are allowed as long as they do not damage the grass. Other barbeques are allowed, but must not damage the grass. Gazebos, windbreaks etc. are not allowed on the tent field. You may be asked to move your tent to another area of the tent field if the grass is being damaged. Please do not hang washing on washing lines as we have a tumble dryer you can use on site; please ask at reception for tokens. Generators are not allowed. The law requires that a safe distance is kept between units on parks. You must leave at least three metres between your caravan, awning, gazebo or tent and the units on neighbouring pitches.

AWNINGS: Awnings may be allowed, depending on circumstances; please enquire. Ground sheets used on grassed areas must be lifted daily.

RUBBISH: All rubbish must be placed in the bins provided and the pitches are to be kept clean and tidy at all times.

CANCELLATIONS: Your deposit is a non-refundable booking fee covering the administrative costs we incur in processing your reservation. Full booking payments are non-refundable so please ensure you take out your own holiday insurance. We will however, in exceptional circumstances offer a credit letter but this is discretionary.

BEHAVIOUR: Briarfields reserve the right to refuse entry to any person who, in our opinion is not suitable. By entering into the agreement you are undertaking for yourself and other members of your party to behave in a courteous and considerate manner towards other occupiers at Briarfields. Noise must be kept to a reasonable level at all times, especially after 11.00pm. If you or your party are deemed to be behaving unreasonably, causing damage to property or annoyance to others, you will be asked to leave. We reserve the right to claim compensation for any damage done.

SPECIAL REQUESTS: Please note that we will do our best to meet any special requests, however we are unable to guarantee any special requests. Please note special requests do not form part of the booking contract and are not a condition of booking. You may request a specific pitch, BUT THIS IS NOT GUARANTEED.

STANDARDS: You are asked to notify Reception immediately of any shortcomings in your accommodation, pitch or service so that these can be rectified. No subsequent claim can be considered for shortcomings not so notified. We hope that you enjoy your stay and look forward to welcoming you back on your return.

The right is reserved to refuse access to the park to any person or persons without giving reason.
